Great bistro for lunch in Sandwich! Tasty ingredients, quality homemade food and a chilled out vibe to the whole place.
We stumbled upon the bistro really close to the Guildhall car park. It was perfect on a chilled out day celebrating someone's birthday.
The historic building is nicely decorated, with the old windows bringing gorgeous light and breeze into the place. The seated area is on the first floor, although the deli counter downstairs would have some takeaway lunch options too.
The food was all very yummy and there were lots of options. Luckily, our vegetarian and our gluten intolerant eaters even had lots to choose from for both savoury and desert courses.
The server and owner were both friendly and went out of their way to be helpful without being imposing at all. Like, taking notice and providing dessert menus before we needed to ask and also finding the last of some homemade custard too.
10/10 would recommend. We would all happily come back here. Thank you!- Parking
- We were parked in the Guildhall car park, about 1 minute walk away for people with no mobility problems.

- Gluten intolerance: Dessert was the real standout, with about 5 sweet treats on offer that were gluten free. I had the frangipane tart and the lemon drizzle cake - both lovely! All of the sandwiches are available in a good quality gluten free bun instead. There were salads too, a couple of which had croutons in the ingredients list, but the salads seemed to be assembled fresh to order so maybe you could just ask for no croutons? Yeah, this was not a place where I simply "got by" as a gluten intolerant person - I had plenty of choice, more than usual for sure.

- The seating area on this day was on the first floor. However, the owner and us got chatting and she spoke about parasols, so maybe on the weekends there are tables available on the paths outside too.

Altough there is nothing stopping me from crossing the border to France and enjoy their cuisine, I have found this gem of a place, which keeps me entertained with French cuisine and I appreciate the authentic flavors of France.
Obviously, a french meal can never be complete without a glass of house white or red wine. On this occasion, I went for red, which complements nicely with the meat and cheese dish.
If the word cosy had a physical attribute to it No Name Shop would be a perfect example.
Although my work has kept at a distance, I shall make every effort to return to this magnificent place yet also for another authentic Pain au chocolat.- Service

What a find! Incredible value. Some of the largest salads and toasted sandwiches ever seen on planet earth. We had no idea helpings would be this large and had to ask to take half of our "lunch" home for dinner. Amazing tasting bread and butter, divine cheeses. Everything was seriously good. Do yourself a favour, especially if you're hungry, and visit the No Name Shop right in the middle of Sandwich. Highly, highly recommend. 🥪🧀☕- Service

I wanted to have a good sandwich in Sandwich. Melted toastie with braised lead and mushroom really hit the spot. This French bistro is a very pleasant place. I would recommend also cream brûlée from the counter in the shop downstairs

Love from the 1st sight 🥰 love the building, decoration & product display to the best-ever baguette from crust to the filling. I have tried to ask the lady serving and it is French garlic saussage, so special⭐️. I would never forget Sandwich🌈

A quaint place with an interesting name, nice bakes and kind hosts. I had a baguette with vegan mozzarella and pesto and a chocolate croissant that were both quite tasty. Would definitely visit again to try the other sweet baked treats! Oh and, dogs are welcome and you can purchase puppocinos for them at this cosy joint!
Excellent and fresh bakery stuff Lovely laid back seating in the first floor and also some tables across the road. Nice place to have breakfast watching lazy traffic on a weekend morning.

We found this lovely place that was more than happy help and had a vegan mozzarella and pesto baguette (yes, I know it's not a sandwich). They also had a beetroot, hummus, and falafel baguette. We also came away with a raspberry frangipane slice and sweat potato and onion pie for our dinner later! They also had at least two other vegan cake/slices! Very good quality.- Service

Spotted this cute place driving through and knew we’d have to pop in! What a lovely authentic French shop 😍 We bought a couple of croque sandwiches to take home for lunch which were perfect 👌 The cheese selection looks epic and they are dog friendly in there too which is a bonus! Picked up some french crisps and sweets too, nostalgia from holidays abroad 🇫🇷

Vegan sausage roll and salad and a croque monsieur and salad. These were both fresh and full of flavour. My partner had the hot chocolate and cream, pronouncing it as excellent
Reasonable pricing great staff and good food well worth a visitBeautiful little place, with an amazing array of french and french inspired food. The staff are super friendly and set in the center of beautiful sandwich.

Upstairs is a bistro with a decent amount of seating. Service wasn't the quickest, but that's ok... It's a very relaxed place so you don't mind so much.
I had tartiflette which was devine, but the whole menu is DELICIOUS French cuisine, with some specials on too.Opening hours
